Title: Cowman's Barbecue Sauce

Yield: 4 Servings

1cVinegar
1cCatsup
1 Juice of 1 lemon
8ozTomato sauce or tomato paste
1 (1 can)
3lgOnions, diced
1lgClove garlic, minced
1/2cBrown sugar, firmly packed
1cWater
1tbLiquid smoke
1tbRed chili powder
2tsSugar
1tsBlack pepper
1 1/2tsSalt
1/2tsGround cloves

Mix all of the ingredients together, blending well, and simmer at least 1 hour, but longer is better. Serve on roast, ribs, steaks or beefburgers. Leftovers can be frozen.
